MUDEJAR in TERUEL

The Mudejar were the Musulmans that stayed under Christian dominance after the Spanish Reconquest (XI - XVI) until their mandatory conversion in 1526.
These kernels of population created their own neighborhoods, call Jewrys or morerķas, in the cities and their Mosques were converted in Churches.
